Mission

MCF promotes, champions, and enhances quality of life across the entire Martinez community by funding projects and programs that benefit present and future residents — supporting education, economic development, community services, cultural and community celebrations, and the environment.

What is NOT funded

Individuals For-profit organizations New / start-up organizations Academic research Admin / operating expenses (incl. staff) Fundraising / development campaigns Normal government responsibilities Churches / sectarian religious functions* Political lobbying or campaigns

*Nondenominational social or community service projects are an exception.

Communication with the Board

Direct communication with the Board of Directors regarding an application will not be of assistance to the applicant and is discouraged.

Non-discrimination

MCF does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, national origin, sex, lifestyle, non-disqualifying handicap, or other non-merit factors beyond those described in this document.
